2 new gigs added

Stockholm will see our first gig in a long time, on May 12, the official release party for “Damned”. We are also confirmed for “THE ENEMY OF THE SUN FEST” in Praha 13-14/9, two gigs will happen that weekend, one all Wolfpack songs, and one all Wolfbrigade. Same members as it’s been the past 8 years, so NO, it’s not a reunion of the first line up, it’s just us doing a special appearance because it’s fun.

The album is getting great reviews and there’s some interviews in magazines like Close Up Magazine, Zero Tolerance, TrashHead etc out now, with more to come.

Not long now till the album is out, April 24 is around the corner. Pre-order from Southern Lord and La Familia is available now – see links on side bar.

First “Damned” teaser

Having recently signed Swedish crust punk overlords WOLFBRIGADE to the label, today Southern Lord has set loose an advance track from the crew’s upcoming LP, Damned, set to hit the streets of North America on April 24th. The raging 35-minute album was recorded at renowned Gothenburg-based Studio Fredman by Frederik Nordstrom (At The Gates, Amon Amarth, Opeth) and arguably shows the band at their finest and most devastating hour, and is the first of three upcoming full-lengths set to be released via Southern Lord.

Today the world can experience a bit of WOLFBRIGADE’s voracious new mayhem via the closing track to the LP, entitled “Peace Of Mind,” now streaming at the Southern Lord website.

Pioneers of the Swedish d-beat/crust movement, WOLFBRIGADE have been storming the scene since 1995, initially known as Wolfpack, the outfit unleashed three LPs and as many EPs of their potent crust-inspired punk in less than five years, instantly making a massively influential impact worldwide and helping fuel an entire new wave of “d-beat” bands and scenes internationally. With some personnel changes at the turn of the century the band kicked off the new millennium under the revamped moniker WOLFBRIGADE. Since then the band’s already powerful attack became even more sinister and morose, yet more aggressive and pummeling. Following four LPs and several splits and mini-releases under the WOLFBRIGADE banner since 2001, the outfit have remained at the top of their game and continue to release invigorating and demoralizing socially-aimed antagonism on a regular basis.

With select touring planned in both Europe and USA throughout 2012, and at least two more releases confirmed for release via Southern Lord, it’s safe to say that we’ll all feel the sting of WOLFBRIGADE quite a bit in the years ahead.
